So many of you are thinking and worrying about me...
I wanted to say that I am working everyday toward healing myself; I plan on recovering fully and I need all of your help and support.
All of your positive and healing thoughts and prayers make a big difference to me...
Please keep sending them my way!

Dave,
ReplyDeleteI'm not a blogger by nature (but then you aren't a veggies guy either!)but did want you and your family to know how we think of you everyday. Juliana was so glad she got a chance to see you and you had a chance to meet Aidan. Juliana has a nice photo of you and the kids at their wedding. Sending our love and best wishes from all,
Lydia
So, here's my favorite summer salad recipe:
ReplyDelete-baby spinach (you know -- the bright green leafy things in the produce section...?)
-strawberries (fresh & organic, of course!)
-crumbled goat cheese (optional, but delish)
-walnuts (for protein)
-oil & vinegar (you can add that citrus flavored fish oil to the dressing -- the orange goes well with the strawberries)
-sprinkle lavishly with flax seeds (mmm...)
hey, with all those omega 3s & vitamins, this salad also happens to be a cancer bomb! what a coincidence...
and maybe it would help make this visual a reality: healthy cells eat their spinach and begin to resemble Pop-Eye (minus the pipe! but keep the tattoo for toughness). When they flex their gigantic muscles, the cancer cells explode. Enter Olive Oyl, who washes away the remnants.
Glad you're diggin' the good vibes. This blog is clear proof of all the strength and love you have sent out to the world coming right back at you.
love, josie.
the east coast Glucks in Concord are sending strong wishes for health and strength across town to you. We're thinking of you.
ReplyDeleteFondly,
Bill and Arlene
Dave,
ReplyDeleteSending you good thoughts and wishes and hope for a speedy recovery.

You are amazing, Dave. We love you so much.
ReplyDeleteThe Moltens (Chuy sends a special hello to the badger)
not to be a blog-hog, but i couldn't resist sharing this quick little image: good cells dress up in concord minutemen attire and grab their trusty muskets. bad cells line up in bright red coats and shiny boots, a mass of stiff, stubborn targets. Wait... we already know who wins this one, don't we? Happy 4th... (ps: blueberries added to the above salad make it a patriotic delight!) xoxojg
ReplyDeleteYOU CAN DO IT I KNOW YOU CAN PRIFTI. I LOVE YOU, SHEVAUN
